I have a passion for great food and beautiful surroundings. I also love to educate and inspire change in environmental challenges. My education comes from both formal institutions and work experience.

My experiences

Melbourne Uni – Environmental Horticulture

My experience as a student of horticulture brings a deeper understanding of plants and ecology. This course is on a campus with a strong tradition of excellence, over a hundred years in the making.

Permaculture Design – The Channon

A 2 week course taught by renowned permaculture teacher and designer Geoff Lawton on his 187 acre demonstration site in the Byron Bay hinterland.

Stephanie Alexander kitchen garden program

Stephanie’s program embodies my definition of sustainable. Food is grown at the school with the help of children and used within minutes of picking in the kitchen. This program provides nutrient dense food whilst decreasing food miles and educating primary school children. Perfect!

Permablitz Melbourne

Permablitz is a working bee for edible gardens. Volunteers congregate at a person’s house and build an entire garden in one day from a design plan. It’s a great way to share information and gain knowledge while being proactive.
